Makes 8 servings
YOU WILL NEED:
1 pkg. McCormick Seasoning Mix
2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1. PLACE chicken in slow cooker.
2. MIX Seasoning Mix, ketchup, water and brown sugar until blended. Pour over chicken. Cover.
3. COOK 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Remove chicken from slow cooker.
4. SHRED chicken, using 2 forks. Return chicken to slow cooker; mix and heat with sauce before serving. Serve on sandwich or slider rolls, if desired.
*Slow Cooker Tip: For best results, do not remove cover during cooking.
TRY THIS TWIST!
Buffalo BBQ Chicken Lettuce Wraps: Use hot sauce in place of the water. Reduce sugar to 1/4 cup. Prepare as directed. Serve in iceberg or Bibb lettuce leaves with shredded carrots, thin celery sticks and blue cheese dressing. Makes 12 servings.
