YOU WILL NEED
Read labels of all ingredients to ensure all are gluten-free
1 pkg. McCormick Gluten-Free Thick & Zesty Spaghetti Sauce Mix
1 ¾ cups water
1 can (6oz.) tomato paste*
1 tbsp. oil or butter (optional)
*Use 1 can (8oz.) tomato sauce in place of tomato paste and reduce water to 1 cup.
1. STIR Sauce Mix, water, tomato paste and oil in medium saucepan until well blended.
2. BRING to boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over gluten free pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Gluten-Free Creamy Tomato Sauce: Stir ¼ cup heavy cream into prepared sauce. Makes 2 ¾ cups.
Gluten-Free Meat Sauce: Brown ½ lb. lean ground beef, ground turkey or Italian sausage, casings removed and crumbled, in medium skillet. Drain fat. Stir in Sauce Mix, water, tomato paste and oil. Continue as directed. Makes 3 ½ cups.
