Cook green beans and pasta according to the pasta package directions; drain. Rinse with cold water; drain again.
Meanwhile, in a screw-top jar, combine shredded basil, vinegar, oil, sugar, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. Cover and shake well.
In a large bowl, combine green beans and pasta, tomatoes and Parmesan. Shake dressing. Pour dressing over pasta mixture; toss gently to coat. Cover and chill for 2 to 6 hours.
Before serving, add spinach to pasta mixture; toss gently to combine. If desired, garnish with basil sprigs. Use a slotted spoon to serve.
