Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup pasta water; drain spaghetti.
Meanwhile, in a 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook, stirring occasionally, until browned about 3 to 4 minutes. Add broccolini (or broccoli) and onions. Sprinkle with dried parsley and, if desired, salt and crushed red pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, chicken broth, reserved pasta water and cooked spaghetti. Simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until the broth is slightly reduced and vegetables are tender.
