Heat oil in a large saucepan heat over medium-high heat. Add ham; cook until browned. Remove from pan and set aside. Add onion and garlic to skillet. Cook and stir for 3 to 4 minutes or until tender.
Add the ham, beans, chopped bell pepper, mustard, vinegar, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce and, if desired, crushed red pepper to onion mixture in saucepan.
Cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until heated through. If desired, top with fresh oregano and bell pepper.
