In medium saucepan, heat water, mushrooms, carrot, green onions, oil, bouillon granules and dried basil (or thyme), if using, to a boil. Stir in couscous and fresh basil or thyme, if using. Remove from heat.
Cover; let stand about 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving.
