Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with heavy-duty foil; brush with 2 teaspoons oil. Set aside.
Cut potatoes lengthwise into 1/2-inch-thick wedges. Transfer to a large bowl. Add the remaining 2 teaspoons oil; toss to coat. Sprinkle the potato wedges with salt and pepper, tossing to coat. Arrange in a single layer in the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 12 minutes. Carefully turn the potatoes; sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes more or until tender and golden. Serve immediately.
