In a large skillet, cook ground lamb (or beef) and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender; drain off fat.
In a 3-1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker combine meat mixture, frozen vegetables, broth, tomatoes, tomato soup, lentils and crushed red pepper.
Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours. Serve meat and lentil mixture over potatoes. If desired, sprinkle each serving with mint.
