Combine cinnamon and orange juice in a small bowl. Brush the nectarines (and/or peaches) with the cinnamon mixture and reserve excess for the cake. Grill fruit quarters directly over medium coals for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. (For gas grill, preheat grill. Reduce heat to medium. Cover and grill as above.)
Cut four 2-inch slices of cake (reserve remaining cake for another use). Brush one side of each cake slice with the orange juice mixture.
Grill cake slices on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium coals for 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Turn and grill 1 to 2 minutes more. (Or cook cake on a griddle over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes per side.)
To serve, place each cake slice on a plate or in a bowl. Spoon grilled fruit on top or alongside. If desired, drizzle with honey, top with fresh berries and/or sprinkle with additional cinnamon.
