Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and oregano; sauté for 3 minutes or until tender. Stir in undrained tomatoes, black (or kidney) beans, pinto beans and salsa. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 25 minutes.
To serve, top with avocado and snipped cilantro.
