Preheat oven to 425°F. In a medium bowl stir together butter, green onion, basil, parsley, thyme, lemon peel and pepper. Set aside.
Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet. Bake for 4 to 5 minutes or until lightly toasted, turning once. Allow bread to cool. Spread cooled toasts with butter mixture. Arrange bread slices on a platter. Set aside.
Stem and thinly slice about 5 of the radishes (3/4 cup). Just before serving, top bread slices with sliced radishes. Add the remaining radishes to the platter. Sprinkle toasts with salt. If desired, serve with a small bowl of sea salt for dipping whole radishes.
