Preheat oven to 350°F. G rease and flour a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan. In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, 1 teaspoon caraway seeds, the baking soda and salt. In another mixing bowl, beat eggs slightly; stir in yogurt, milk and melted margarine (or butter). Add to flour mixture along with cheese. Stir just until moistened. (Batter will be thick.) Turn into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 teaspoon caraway seeda.
Bake for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan on a wire rack. Remove from pan. Cool on the wire rack for at least 1 hour. Serve warm or cool.
