In a 5 to 6-quart slow cooker, combine turkey drumstick, beans, diced tomatoes and green chiles, broth, bell pepper, onion, brown sugar, garlic, dry mustard and savory (or thyme).
Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High for 4 to 5 hours. Remove turkey drumstick. When cool enough to handle, remove meat from bone and coarsely chop, return to the bean mixture. Discard skin and bone.
