Preheat oven to 450°F. In a large bowl combine egg, 1/2 cup pasta sauce, breadcrumbs, 2 tablespoons basil and salt. Add ground beef and 1/2 cup mozarella; mix well.
Divide meat mixture into four portions. Shape each portion into a 5-1/2-by-2-inch oval loaf. Place on a large rimmed baking sheet. Top loaves with the remaining 1/2 cup pasta sauce and the remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella. Bake about 15 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer registers 160°F.
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, cook green beans in a small amount of boiling salted water for 10 minutes; drain. Return beans to hot pot. Add oil and, if desired, crushed red pepper; toss gently to coat. Serve meatloaves with green beans. Sprinkle with the remaining 2 tablespoons basil.
