Trim fat from pork. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it sizzles. Add apple; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Push apple to side of skillet. Add pork chops; cook for 4 minutes. Turn chops, moving apples aside as needed. Spoon apples over chops. Sprinkle with pecans and brown sugar.
Cover and cook 4 to 8 minutes more, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted in center of chops registers 160°F. Serve apples and cooking juices over chops.
