Preheat waffle iron on medium heat. Drain hash browns then squeeze dry with paper towels to remove excess liquid. Mix hash browns, onion, Breakfast Seasoning and salt in large bowl.
Spray inside top and bottom surfaces of 7-inch round waffle maker with no stick cooking spray. For each waffle, spread 1 cup of the hash brown mixture on waffle maker. Carefully close lid and cook 7 to 8 minutes or until desired crispness.
Serve with maple syrup, if desired.
