Baked Taco Pockets

Taco pockets are perfect for a filling dinner. This is our taco night with a twist! We often crave taco flavors, but need to reinvent the wheel so we don't feel like we're always making the same thing for dinner. These pockets require only half of our attention because they’re baked!

Cook time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:
Refrigerated biscuits (8 pack)
1 lb ground beef
1 packet Lawry’s Taco Spices & Seasonings
1 diced tomato 1 diced onion

Directions: 

1. Sauté the onion and tomato on medium heat
2. Brown the ground beef with the onion and tomato
3. Add the Lawry’s Taco Seasoning packet and recommended 2/3 cups of water
4. Cook meat to a simmer at medium-high heat
5. Flatten biscuit and add 2 spoon-fuls of meat to center.
6. Fold up dough to create a closed pocket.
7. Repeat for all 8 biscuits
8. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-5 minutes or until golden brown. 

TIP: Using premade biscuit dough for this recipe leaves time to get other things done while dinner bakes! Use a fork to close the edges of the dough so the filling doesn’t seep out.
