Mimi's Healthy Twists On Comfort Foods

Fried foods are the ultimate comfort foods. No need to be Southern to truly enjoy them! Now that there’s more attention being focused on healthier eating, you don’t have to forego classics like fried chicken and fried steak. Just reduce the amount of fat by oven-frying or oven-baking instead of deep-frying!

Oven Baked Steak Fried steak, although delicious, can be high in calories and fat. This is an easy way to lighten it up without sacrificing flavor.
