Marinade Spotlight: Make It Mediterranean

In the mood for Mediterranean? Good. We’ve got the answer to your Italian cravings with marinades that cling for maximum flavor with minimum effort—because weeknights are busy, and who’s got the time?

All you need: The protein (or veggies) of your choice, a large resealable plastic bag (or glass baking dish) and just 30 minutes in the fridge.

By marinating meat before cooking or grilling, protein will remain juicier and more flavorful. Marinade can also be used during the cooking process to add yet another layer of flavor (or what savvy moms around here call “cling”).

Mediterranean Herb & White Wine marinade: Perfect with chicken and seafood dishes, this marinade is made with basil, oregano, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and sun-dried tomato.

Signature Italian marinade: A flavorful combination of garlic, oregano, basil, red bell peppers and savory romano cheese for chicken, pork, seafood and veggies. (Coming 2016.)
