This Teriyaki Chicken Bowl is an easy weeknight meal, that everyone will enjoy. The best part of Lawry’s Marinades is that they can be used for more than a marinade! The Lawry’s Teriyaki Marinade is used like a delectable sauce in this recipe. Your family is going to love it!
Prep Time: 5 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Serves 4
2 teaspoons vegetable or canola oil
1 pound chicken tenderloins
3 tablespoons Lawry’s Teriyaki Marinade
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup frozen vegetable medley
3 cups cooked white or brown rice
Sesame seeds, optional
Heat large skillet on medium high heat. Add oil. Add chicken; cook 5 minutes.
Turn chicken and add marinade. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until cooked through.
Remove chicken from skillet. Set aside. Add garlic and onion to the skillet. Stir well. Add frozen vegetable medley to skillet and cook until the vegetables are warmed through, about 3 minutes. Add a tablespoon of water to skillet, if sauce seems too thick.
Place rice in bowls, top with teriyaki vegetables and tenderloins. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired, serve and enjoy.
