ALL YOU NEED
1 pkg. Prime Cut Chili Seasoning Mix
1 lb. ground beef
2 cans (8oz. each) tomato sauce or 1 can (14 ½ oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15oz.) kidney or pinto beans, undrained
BROWN beef in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat.
STIR in Seasoning Mix, tomato sauce and beans.
BRING to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with shredded cheese, chopped onions or sour cream, if desired.
• We also recommend other types of meat, such as ground turkey or ground pork or boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes and browned in 1 tbsp. oil.
• Spicy Chili: Stir in 1 tsp. crushed red pepper or ¼ tsp. ground red pepper with Seasoning Mix.
• Cincinnati Chili: Stir in 1 tsp ground cinnamon with Seasoning Mix. Serve over cooked spaghetti topped with shredded Cheddar cheese and chopped onions, if desired.
