  • This stuff sounded good but very much was not. The smoke flavor overwhelms any other flavor and there were very few onions in it. Also the sodium was too much. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Only reason I am giving this a 1 star is that it would not let me post without doing so.

  • I normally season my home-ground burgers (and meatloaf) with my own concoction of wet and dry ingredients. I never even look at pre-made sauce mixes and packets. However I saw this in my Kroger next to a grilling display and decided to try it out. I bought three packets for 2.5 pounds of ground chuck. It was well worth it for $1.19 each without having to go through the five bottles of this and five spice jars of that. People who know my burgers are to die for raved at these as well. Well done McCormick! I would recommend shaping the burgers after mixing and let them sit in the refrigerator to let the flavoring really set up and get into the meat. Oh and another burger 101 tip: do no over-mix and over-handle your burgers unless you like them dense and tough! It's not sold everywhere as the packet mix seasoning shelf space is very competitive, so you may or may not have access to it.
