Enriched Yellow Corn Meal (Corn Meal, Iron, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Sugar, Onion, Salt, Leavening (Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate), Spices, Garlic, And Monosodium Glutamate (Flavor Enhancer).

DEEP FRYING DIRECTIONS
1. MIX 1 cup Hush Puppy Mix and 1/2 cup ice-cold water in medium bowl until well blended.
2. REFRIGERATE 10 minutes. Batter will be thick.
3. POUR vegetable oil into large skillet or deep fryer, filling no more than 1/3 full. Heat oil to 350°F on medium heat.
4. DROP batter by teaspoonfuls into hot oil. Cook until hush puppies are golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
Makes about 15 hush puppies.
TIP: Try adding chopped jalapeño pepper, crisp-cooked bacon, chopped green onion or grated cheese to the batter.
