This is BY FAR the BEST Mexican rice EVER. I tweak it a little to make it the way my family likes it, and I adapted the recipe for the microwave. I LOVE that there is no MSG, which is HARD to find in other flavored rice products. I've made this for LOTS of people, and everyone raves about it. Excellent product.

Unbeleivable. I have been to 3 stores to find this product and then got online to look for it. No way did they discontinue such a good product!!! I could have 100's of people write into Mc Cormick and complain. I have bought this product for the past several years. I cook for our church and have fed hundreds of poeple this recipe. So said that Mc Cormick would do this to there customers. :-( In fact, I am cooking for 70 this weekend and this was a side dish. I have 8 packets and need 10 to supply the amount of rice needed. so bummed and dissapointed. Now i hvae to change my menu.

Why would you discontinue a product that is so good? I placed in my meatloaf recipe & my family fell in love. Please let me know if you plan to bring back.
