This product is an example of what distinguishes McCormick. Buy inexpensive bulk turmeric and buy McCormick, smell one, smell the other. The difference is not only a matter of potency- after smelling the McCormink, the inexpensive kind, when it has any smell at all, is often unrecognizable as being of the same family at all.
