  • 1 package (14 ounces) refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick® Apple Pie Spice
  • 8 cups tart apples such Granny Smith or Winesap, peeled and thinly sliced (about 8 cups)

    Great spice, but I make my own as it is $5.00 in the stores for this small jar here and I already have all the spices on hand that this is comprised of.

    I love this spice and use it in my apple pies and sometimes other dishes to enhance some taste. I can't find it at any store in Honolulu. I wish you would encourage Foodland, Safeway, and Whole Foods to stock it in their stores.

    This is a marvelous spice. Use it on oatmeal and many fruit desserts. Always in my pantry.
