SHRIMP WITH SPICY TOMATO SAUCE

SHRIMP WITH SPICY TOMATO SAUCE

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 medium jalapeno or serrano pepper, thinly sliced

1 pound uncooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce

1/2 teaspoon Lawry's® Garlic Salt

3 cups hot cooked rice

Directions

1. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and cook onion and peppers, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

 

2. Add shrimp and cook, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes or until shrimp almost turn pink. Stir in tomato sauce and Lawry's® Garlic Salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through and shrimp turn pink. Serve over hot rice.
