1. Mix hot water and Beef Stew Mix in 4-quart saucepan with wire whisk until well blended. Stir in beef cubes. Let stand 10 minutes.
2. Bring to boil on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Stir in carrots, potatoes and onions. Return to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 minutes or until meat and vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
