Gluten-Free Brown Gravy

Serve rich and flavorful gluten-free brown gravy over beef or mashed potatoes.

  • Stir water gradually into Gravy Mix with whisk in small saucepan.

  • Stirring frequently, cook on medium heat until gravy comes to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3 to 4 minutes. (Gravy will thicken upon standing).

Cooking tip

• Read labels of all recipe ingredients to ensure all are gluten-free. 

Microwave Directions:
Stir water into Gravy Mix in 1 1/2-quart microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened, stirring after each minute.

Herbed Mushroom Brown Gravy: Melt 1 tablespoon butter in small saucepan on medium heat. Add 1 cup chopped mushrooms and 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Thyme Leaves; cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in water and Gravy Mix and continue to cook as directed.
