Want to preserve cotton candy grapes past their short season? Preserve them! This easy recipe uses a blender to puree the grapes and strawberries before spooning into a jar. Store in the refrigerator and spread on scones, biscuits, toast and muffins.
Place strawberries in blender container; cover. Process until finely chopped. Add remaining ingredients to blender; cover. Process until just mixed.
Pour into clean containers or jars, leaving 1/2-inch space at top for expansion if freezing. Tightly cover containers or jars. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours or until set. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks or in freezer up to 1 year.
Test Kitchen Tips:
• Cotton Candy grapes are plump, seedless green grapes that have an initial burst of cotton candy flavor with a lingering mild, juicy sweetness. They are available from August to September, and can be found in the produce section of some groceries or online specialty stores.
• If freezing, thaw in refrigerator before using.
