Basil & Parsley Asparagus

Fresh asparagus is accented by a perfectly flavored herb butter that is so easy to prepare.

  • Cook asparagus in boiling water in large uncovered skillet on medium-high heat 5 minutes or until tender-crisp. Drain well. Place on serving dish.

  • Stir parsley, basil and pepper into melted butter. Pour over asparagus. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Cooking tip

Spring Thyme Asparagus: Use 1/2 teaspoon each McCormick® Garlic Powder and Thyme Leaves in place of the parsley and basil.

Herbed Green Beens: Use fresh green beans, stem ends snapped off, in place of the asparagus.

    Best asparagus I have made to date!! Forgot to put the parm cheese on it and though it would've been great with it, if you don't have it, it is perfectly delicious without it.
