Yesterday I was organizing my spices, and noted that I have all of these McCormick spices on hand, so I'm going to try this recipe. With a rating of three stars, I hesitated, and now I am I'm glad I checked the reviews, because every rating under 5 stars given by someone who did not succeed in reproducing the recipe as intended. I think it is unfair to rate a recipe you have modified at less than five stars. Ratings should be a reflection of the recipe, as is, prepared properly. Since I have not yet tried this one I'm leaving a '5' as my rating and will return to rate it later.

I would make it the first time using 1/3 to 1/2 of the spices, just to test out the flavor. If you need a little more, then add it by increments the next time you make it. You can make it to your liking as far as mild to spicy that way. I'd rather do that, instead of making it full spice and not like it because it was too strong. Just a thought.

I would start out with Italian Bread Crumbs & add more Parmesan/Romano to the crumbs. Skip all the recommended spices unless you REALLY like spicy foods; 2 eggs instead of 1; add 1/2 - 3/4 cup milk (makes it more moist).

I hated it -- the worse meatloaf I've ever eating. The meatloaf was dry and over-season. No one liked it and it was thrown away. On top of that I wasted two pounds of ground beef. I'd love that money back, please.
