Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi

Shrimp Scampi like it's done in a restaurant -- garlicky and buttery, and served over linguine.

Serves: Makes 6 servings.

  • Cook pasta as directed on package. Drain well.

  • Meanwhile, heat oil and butter in large skillet on medium heat until butter is melted. Add shrimp and Seasoning Mix; cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes or just until shrimp turn pink. Stir in lemon juice or wine.

  • Toss with cooked pasta to coat well. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Cooking tip

Use 1/2 cup olive oil or 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter instead of 1/4 cup each olive oil and butter.

    My family really liked this! I reduced the oil to 1 tbsp and butter to 3 tbsp. It was the perfect amount. I topped off the dish with a squirt of lemon juice and Parmesan cheese. I will definitely make this again.

    Love this product however can't seem to find it anywhere Giant and Redners discontinued it I live outside of Philadelphia , Pa Any info on where I can purchase it?

    Sooo good too much oil and butter so I added some breadcrumbs. I will reduce it to my liking next time. I will make it again soon.

    The family love it, but my secret was a little Oregano and black peper. was very easy and fast to make. I love it and will make this aqain soon, specialy during the Easter Week.

    This recipe did not have enough Salt or Garlic. My family thought it was very bland & oily. I will not be making this one again
