Chicken Fried Steak

Enjoy this home-style favorite for breakfast or dinner. It's so easy with McCormick® Country Gravy Mix.

  • Mix flour and seasoned salt in shallow dish. Dip steaks into milk then coat with flour mixture. Repeat dipping to use up milk and flour.

  • Fry steaks in hot oil in large skillet 5 minutes per side or until desired doneness.

  • Meanwhile, stir water gradually into Gravy Mix with wire whisk in 2-quart saucepan. Stirring frequently, cook on medium heat until gravy comes to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 1 minute. Serve gravy over steak.

    I like mine with smoked sausage. It is good, but hard to keep lit.
