Let’s make souvlaki! This Greek specialty gets its authentic flavor from a blend of McCormick® everyday spices, including mint, oregano and thyme. Skewer-up seasoned cubes of beef and vegetables and grill until charred. Serve over Greek salad, rice or fresh pita bread.
Mix oil, vinegar and spices in large bowl. Add beef cubes; toss to coat well. Cover.
Refrigerate 15 minutes. Remove beef from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade. Alternately thread beef, tomatoes and onion wedges onto skewers.
Grill skewers over medium-high heat 10 to 12 minutes or until beef is to desired doneness, turning occasionally. Sprinkle skewers with feta cheese before serving.
Test Kitchen Tip: If using wooden skewers, soak thoroughly in water for at least 30 minutes before threading with beef, tomatoes and onions. This prevents them from burning when on the grill.
