Bag 'n Season® Smoky Western Spareribs

Here is a zestily flavored sparerib recipe that is sure to become a family favorite. No grilling required - these ribs are cooked in the oven with Bag 'n Season®!

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Arrange opened Cooking Bag in 13x9-inch baking pan or dish. Place ribs in bag.

  • Mix Seasoning Mix with remaining ingredients. Sprinkle evenly over ribs. Close bag loosely with nylon tie. Cut 4 small holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape.

  • >Bake in lower half of oven 1 1/2 hours. Let stand 5 minutes

Cooking tip

Allow 8 inches for bag to expand while cooking. Cooking bag should not touch oven walls or racks.

    These are great tasting ribs that my family thoroughly enjoys. They come out with great taste and very tender and my boys are always wanting more. I would definitely recommend!

    I wish I could give this recipe a raving review like the last person however I was a bit disappointed with the outcome. The ribs were a bit "rubbery" and the flavor wasn't very "smokey" tasting. The only thing that flavored this dish was the BBQ sauce we had in the fridge. I suppose they would not be too bad in a pinch but I'm sticking with my smoker from now on.
