Slow Cooker Italian Beef and Tomato Stew

Nothing beats dinner that’s already cooked at the end of a busy day. Tender cubes of beef and vegetables are slow simmered in a tomato sauce with Italian seasonings.

  • Place beef, tomatoes, carrots, onions and celery in slow cooker.

  • Mix water, cornstarch, Italian seasoning and seasoned salt in small bowl until well blended. Pour over beef and vegetables. Cover.

  • Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Stir before serving.

Cooking tip

•For a quick start in the morning, cut the vegetables into pieces the night before, then refrigerate until you're ready to start cooking.
•For best results, do not remove cover during cooking.
