Holiday Brisket

Oven-braised brisket is moist and tender, with a flavorful gravy that starts with Lawry’s® Brown Gravy Mix.

  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Sprinkle meat with seasoned salt and seasoned pepper. Place in roasting pan or Dutch oven. Place carrots, celery and onions around meat.  

  • Mix tomatoes, Gravy Mixes, water and wine in medium bowl. Pour over meat. Cover.  

  • Bake 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Transfer meat and vegetables to serving platter. Slice meat across the grain into 1/4-inch thick slices. Skim fat from pan juices. Serve meat and vegetables with pan juices.
