Grilled Cajun Shrimp Skewers

Add variety to your backyard barbecue menu. Serve Cajun-marinated shrimp and vegetable skewers in addition to the typical hot dogs and hamburgers.

  • For the salsa, mix tomato, corn, onion, cilantro, 1 tablespoon of the lime juice and 1/2 teaspoon of the garlic salt. Cover. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  • Coat pork with remaining 1 tablespoon lime juice. Sprinkle evenly with remaining 1 teaspoon garlic salt and cumin.

  • Grill pork over medium heat 20 to 25 minutes or until desired doneness, turning occasionally. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serve pork with salsa.

Cooking tip

Test Kitchen Tip: If using wooden skewers, soak thoroughly in water for at least 30 minutes before threading with shrimp and vegetables. This prevents them from burning when on the grill.

    this recipe is labeled grilled cajun shrimp and a picture of the same .... but the recipe refers to "coat the pork" and the ingredients (which do not even mention shrimp) seem to go with the pork recipe. so where is the recipe for grilled cajun shrimp??
