What’s on the table tonight? To-die-for fried chicken wings from Chrissy Teigen’s famous hubby. Straight out of her best-selling cookbook, “Cravings,” these crispy, finger-licking wings boast stand-out flavor thanks to Lawry’s® Seasoned Salt in both the brine and the breading.
Mix water, 6 tablespoons of the seasoned salt, garlic powder and 2 tablespoons of the red pepper in large container or 2-gallon resealable plastic bag. Add chicken; cover container or seal bag. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.
Mix flour and remaining 2 tablespoons seasoned salt and 1 tablespoon red pepper in large bowl until well blended. Remove wings from brine. Discard any remaining brine. Coat wings, a few pieces at a time, with seasoned flour.
Pour oil into large deep skillet or Dutch oven, filling no more than 1/3 full. Heat to 360°F on medium heat. Add wings in batches to hot oil. Fry 10 to 12 minutes per batch or until golden brown and crispy, turning once. Drain on paper towels.
Mix butter, hot sauce and honey in a large bowl until well blended. Season with kosher salt to taste, if desired. Add cooked wings; toss to coat.
