John’s Fried Chicken Wings with Spicy Honey Butter

What’s on the table tonight? To-die-for fried chicken wings from Chrissy Teigen’s famous hubby. Straight out of her best-selling cookbook, “Cravings,” these crispy, finger-licking wings boast stand-out flavor thanks to Lawry’s® Seasoned Salt in both the brine and the breading.

  • Mix water, 6 tablespoons of the seasoned salt, garlic powder and 2 tablespoons of the red pepper in large container or 2-gallon resealable plastic bag. Add chicken; cover container or seal bag. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.

  • Mix flour and remaining 2 tablespoons seasoned salt and 1 tablespoon red pepper in large bowl until well blended. Remove wings from brine. Discard any remaining brine. Coat wings, a few pieces at a time, with seasoned flour.

  • Pour oil into large deep skillet or Dutch oven, filling no more than 1/3 full. Heat to 360°F on medium heat. Add wings in batches to hot oil. Fry 10 to 12 minutes per batch or until golden brown and crispy, turning once. Drain on paper towels.

  • Mix butter, hot sauce and honey in a large bowl until well blended. Season with kosher salt to taste, if desired. Add cooked wings; toss to coat.
