Makes 3/4 cup marinade
ALL YOU NEED
1 pkg. Prime Cut Beef Marinade Mix
2/3 cup cold water
2 lbs. beef*
*We like it on flank or skirt steak or eye round or sirloin tip roast.
MIX Marinade Mix and water in small bowl. Pierce beef with fork several times so marinade can reach interior of beef. Place beef in large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add marinade; turn to coat well.
REFRIGERATE 15 minutes. Remove beef from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.
GRILL or BROIL beef over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness. (Best for flank or skirt steak.)
TO ROAST: Roast beef in foil-lined roasting pan in preheated 325ºF oven 1 ¼ hours or until tender and desired doneness. (Best for eye round or sirloin tip roast.)
• Trim excess fat on beef to about ¼-inch to prevent flare ups on the grill.
• For Extra Flavor: Before marinating the beef, set aside 2 tbsp. of the prepared Marinade for basting halfway through cooking.
• For Flavorful, Juicy Beef: Turn beef with tongs instead of a fork to prevent loss of flavorful juices. Let beef rest 5 to 15 minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
