Applewood Grilled Whole Fish

Whether you caught it yourself or bought it market-fresh, making a whole fish on the grill is always an epic endeavor.

  • Rinse fish and pat dry. Score skin diagonally on both sides of fish.

  • Brush fish with oil. Season with Applewood Rub. Stuff inside cavity of fish with lemon slices. Place fish on well-oiled grill over medium heat.

  • Grill 6 to 7 minutes per side or until fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Cooking tip

The fish is ready to turn when the skin releases easily from the grill.
