Caraway adds a warm and slightly biting flavor to rye bread as well as hearty Eastern European dishes such as goulash, sauerkraut and boiled potatoes.
Toast seeds before use on beef, lamb or pork to heighten flavor. Sprinkle on bread before baking, especially rye bread. Add to sauerkraut, potatoes, stews, cauliflower and cottage cheese.
