Six-Spice Maple Cornish Hens will give everyone another reason to enjoy backyard grilling. Maple syrup adds a sweet touch to Cornish hens and cayenne and black peppers add bite to the warmer flavors of cumin, ginger and thyme.
Mix spices in small bowl. Set aside
Split each hen in half. Brush with oil. Rub with spice mixture; coat well
Broil or grill over medium heat 12 to 14 minutes per side or until hens are cooked through. Brush with maple syrup; broil or grill 3 minutes longer. Sprinkle with green onion before serving
