New Orleans Crab Cakes

Want a classic New Orleans appetizer in under 30 minutes? Zatarain’s Crab Cake Mix contains the perfect blend of spices and seasonings to enhance any meal, or jazz up any party.

  • Mix Crab Cake Mix, water, mayonnaise and Creole Mustard in large bowl until well blended. Add crabmeat; toss gently to mix. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Shape into 2-inch crab cakes

  • Heat 1/4 cup of the oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Carefully add crab cakes, a few at a time

  • Fry 4 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining crab cakes, adding remaining oil as necessary.

Cooking tip

Test Kitchen Tip: Add 2 teaspoons ZATARAIN'S® Creole Mustard to the Crab Cake Mix for more of a kick.

Serving Suggestion: Serve with remoulade sauce, if desired.
