Put a Cajun twist on your party dip with this easy appetizer recipe.
Serving Size: 2 tablespoons
2 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons oil
1 package (7 ounces) ZATARAIN'S® Black Beans and Rice
1 pound bulk pork sausage, cooked
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped tomato
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup chopped green onions
Mix water, oil and Rice Mix in medium saucepan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 25 minute or until most of the water is absorbed and rice is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent rice and beans from sticking.
Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.
Spread 1/2 of the rice mixture in 11x7-inch baking dish. Layer with 1/2 each of the crumbled cooked sausage, cheese and tomato. Repeat layers. Top with sour cream and green onions. Serve with tortilla chips.
