Usage tips

All You Need
5-6 lbs. desired Foods
2/3 cup Ice Cold Water
Vegetable Oil or Shortening.
Directions
1. COMBINE ½ cup batter mix with cold water. Stir until smooth.
2. DIP food into wet batter. Shake off excess.
3. ROLL food in remaining dry batter mix to evenly coat. Fry food as directed below.

Deep Fry: Pour oil or melt shortening in large heavy skillet, saucepan or deep-fryer. Fill no more than half full with oil, but deep enough for food to float while frying; avoid overcrowding.
Chicken: Heat oil to 365° F. Add chicken; avoid overcrowding. Fry 10-13 minutes or until done.
Onion Rings: Heat oil to 375° F. Cut onions into ¼" slices. Separate into rings. Fry 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
Seafood: Heat oil to 375° F. Dip in wet batter only. Fry 3-5 minutes or until done.
Pan Fry: Use ¼" to ½” oil or shortening in pan.
Chicken: Heat oil to 350°F. Fry 2-3 minutes on each side or until light brown. Reduce heat to 300° F., cover pan and fry 10 minutes on each side or until done.
Onion Rings: Heat oil to 375°F. Cut onions into ¼" slices. Separate into rings. Fry 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
Seafood: Heat oil to 375°F. Dip in wet batter only. Fry 3-5 minutes or until done.

    The directions say: 1 Combine 1/2 cup Batter Mix with water etc. 2 Dip food in wet batter etc. 3 Roll food in REMAINING DRY BATTER etc. What remaining dry batter ????? Where does it call for any Remaining batter?? Do I use whats left in the box or what????

    I LOVE THIS stuff I just wish I could find it. I use it as a breading not a batter. I take 2 eggs and milk (quite a bit of milk) the I take thin cut pork chops and pound them then dip in the wet and coat them in the batter powder. Then fry them babies up in some veggie oil and you have a great dinner! even good cold the next day! You don't have to add anything extra to it ti's perfect!
