Gravy with a flavor twist -- serve it with your traditional roast turkey.
4 slices bacon
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 packages McCormick® Turkey Gravy Mix
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Cinnamon, Roasted Ground Saigon
2 cups water
1 cup turkey pan drippings or turkey broth
Cook bacon in large saucepan until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Crumble bacon. Set aside. Reserve 2 tablespoons drippings in saucepan. Add onion; cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender.
Mix Gravy Mix, flour, roasted cinnamon, water and turkey drippings. Add to saucepan; mix well. Stirring frequently, cook on medium-high heat until gravy comes to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. (Gravy will continue to thicken upon standing.).
