A super easy meat sauce starts with Italian-Style Spaghetti Sauce Mix, a traditional blend, combining the flavors of mushrooms, garlic, basil, oregano and paprika.
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 package McCormick® Italian Style Spaghetti Sauce Mix with Mushrooms
2 1/4 cups water
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 tablespoon oil, (optional)
Brown meat in medium skillet on medium-high. Drain fat.
Stir in Sauce Mix, water, tomato paste and oil. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over pasta. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
