Italian Sausage & Peppers is delicious over pasta. Use sweet or hot Italian sausage according to your desired level of heat. Photo credit: Sydney Kramer from Crepes of Wrath.
1/2 pound Italian sausage, crumbled
1 green or red bell pepper (or 1/2 of each), thinly sliced
1 package McCormick® Thick & Zesty Spaghetti Sauce Mix
1 3/4 cups water
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
Cook and stir sausage and bell pepper in large skillet on medium-high heat until lightly browned.
Stir in Sauce Mix, water and tomato paste. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over pasta. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
